What this is

A pages inventory that scores your site and surfaces issues across:
  • Robots.txt health
  • Performance
  • Technical SEO
  • Content

Why it matters

  • AI engines rely on pages that are crawlable, structured, and answer questions directly.
  • Many visibility problems are actually site structure or missing FAQ/schema problems.
  • This is your “fix the foundation” hub.

Where to find it

Analytics → Website → Pages

How it works

  • Meridian scans your site pages and assigns:
    • Technical score (crawl/SEO/metadata/schema signals)
    • Content score (answerability, completeness, helpful structure)
    • Issues count per page
  • A top banner summarizes issues across the site (e.g., “47 issues across 100 pages”).
Website pages overview with scores and issue counts Caption: Website Pages summarizes site health and shows page-by-page issues.

How to use it

  1. Review the top cards (Robots.txt, Performance, Technical SEO, Content).
  2. Use the issues banner to understand scope (issues across pages).
  3. Sort/scan pages with:
    • Low Technical score
    • Low Content score
    • High Issues count
  4. Click a page to open Page details and follow action steps.

How to interpret results

  • If Robots.txt is not healthy → crawlers may be blocked → fix before content work.
  • If Technical is low but Content is high → you’re “good but invisible” → fix schema/meta/crawl issues.
  • If Content is low but Technical is high → you’re crawlable but not useful → add FAQs, structure, and direct answers.
  • If one template type (e.g., all product pages) has many issues → fix the template once to lift many pages.
  • If issues are concentrated on pages you want cited → prioritize those pages first; they’re most likely to move metrics.

Common questions / troubleshooting

  • “Why do I see a refresh timer?” → Website scans run on a schedule; the UI shows next refresh time.
  • “Why are scores >100?” → some scoring systems can exceed 100 when you strongly match best practices (treat as “excellent”).
  • “Why is my page list incomplete?” → crawl coverage may be limited; ensure sitemap/internal links exist.
