Skip to main contentVisibility tells you how often your brand appears in AI answers for the prompts you track.
Calculation
Visibility=# total responses# responses where you are mentioned×100
Example
If Meridian ran 200 prompt-runs today, each on 4 models, there’d be 800 responses. If you were mentioned in 96 of them:
- Visibility = 96 / 800 = 12%
How to interpret it
- A low visibility percentage means you are frequently not included in answers. In practice, this usually means you are not consistently in the “consideration set.”
- Improving visibility tends to require one (or more) of:
- Better topic coverage (content that directly answers the prompts)
- Stronger presence in the sources models trust (citations)
- Or better site discovery (crawlability/citeability).
